The biggest game announcements from The Game Awards

The Game Awards is a night when people come to celebrate the best games of the year but it’s also a night where announcements are made and it came in droves this year. While not every announcement is below, here are some of the biggest game announcements.

Far Cry: New Dawn
Set seventeen years after a global nuclear catastrophe, Far Cry New Dawn brings players into a wildly beautiful and radically transformed Hope County, Montana. Life has begun to emerge from the chaos, but the survivors now face a new threat – the merciless Highwaymen and their leaders The Twins, Mickey and Lou. Raised in a lawless frontier, the twin sisters and their band of scavengers live only for today and have descended upon Hope County to take all available resources. To push back this devastating threat, players must help the Survivors grow stronger, craft a makeshift arsenal and form unexpected alliances to fight for survival in a dangerous new frontier.

Far Cry New Dawn launches on February 15th 2019.

SuperGiant Games, the developers of Transistor and Bastion have announced their brand new roguelite dungeon crawler that’s actually available in Early Access from the Epic Games store from now

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
In a rather surprise announcement, we got word that a new game in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series is coming in 2018.
The Biggest surprise? It’s a Nintendo Switch EXCLUSIVE.

The Outer Worlds
Obsidian revealed their brand new open world game and is bringing back some of the original creators behind the Fallout franchise, and given their history with making Fallout: New: Vegas as well as what we’ve seen so far, The Outer Worlds could be something spectacular. AND it’s coming in 2019

Mortal Kombat 11
When Ed Boon took the stage, there was only one inevitability: a lot of death. The announcement trailer is bloody, gory, and violent so what more would you want from MK. Coming in April 2019

The Last Campfire

No Man’s Sky developer Hello Games have revealed their new short game called The Last Campfire and it looks quite adorable and interesting.

There were so many other things announced, big and small, so what was your favourite announcement from the night?
