A recent document has been filed to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) which outline a brand new model entitled: CECH-4001x.
Little is known about the system in the documents except the approximation of size of the new console. With Gamescom just around the corner it seems like Sony may be ready to unveil the slimmer PS3 to the public in time for release this holiday. It may not be the next-gen console we all want, but it does mean there’s new hardware to obtain while we wait.
