A Knight's Quest Review

On initial impressions, A Knight’s Quests introduces itself as a humourous RPG set in a fantasy world, something akin to a Zelda. With visuals and scope seemingly attempting to match Breath of the Wild, first impressions are fairly positive.

Unfortunately, the game falls back more as a throwback to early 00’s games in the 3D platformer space. While this alone would be fine, the drawn-out length and sometimes frustrating controls, as well as a disappointing combat system, keep A Knight’s Quest from being anything other than disappointing

  • Some writing can be charming and funny
  • Some nice environments to explore
  • Puzzles in dungeons can be challenging in the best way possible

  • The game drags on far too long
  • Combat is spammy and repetitive
  • Some technical issue persist throughout the game
